Plateaus Happen: The road to weight loss is never smooth. If you were to graph your results, you will certainly see some downward movement with speedbumps and plateaus a pretty consistent feature. As mentioned above, there are many forces working behind the scenes — hormones, stress, genetics and simply just having weeks were you find it really hard to stick to your program. So be realistic and get ready for some ups and downs.
